Thirst For Touch
Discomfort- physical, emotional, mental, spiritual. How many times have I felt uncomfortable in my own skin? Isolated and separate from others. Exacerbated by the need to be physically distant and protect each other during Covid’s rage, I have struggled to find peace.
We live in our bodies- and as long as we are here, there is no escaping. As embodied beings, most of us are born with a thirst for touch – for the feeling of connection and safety that nurturing touch provides. Nurturing touch enables us to self-regulate, to soothe and to be soothed, to give and to receive comfort.
Biodynamic Craniosacral practice heals through nurturing touch. Known to boost the immune system, to lower blood pressure, to decrease stress hormones and chronic pain, touch transforms.
