I celebrate the uniqueness of each individual and bring an abundance of methods to my practice, allowing me to tailor my approach according to an individual’s specific needs.

Experience

As a long-time student of Body-Mind Centering © and Bonnie-Bainbridge Cohen, Pediatric bodywork diplomate work with Dr. Jonathan Evans and Kate White, and post-grad training in Parent-Infant Psychotherapy, I ensure that my clients receive the best short and long-term outcomes.

In my Craniosacral practice since 2010, I treat babies, mothers, families, and individuals for a variety of health-related concerns including pregnancy and difficult birth, tongue-tie, and latch difficulty, TMJ, tension and migraine headaches, Long Covid, Lyme disease, birth-related trauma, spinal injuries, head, and limb injuries, adrenal insufficiency, PMS, menopause and related hormonal conditions, insomnia, stress, depression, and anxiety.

Education

I am a Doctor of Health Education, Adjunct Professor at Columbia University’s Teachers College and Medical Center, Certified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, Diplomate of Pediatric Bodywork, Maternal-infant Health, Infant Developmental Movement Educator (IDME), Parent-Infant Psychotherapy, and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).

I received my master’s degree in Developmental Psychology with a focus on mother-infant attachment, trained as a Parent-Infant Psychotherapist with Columbia’s Psychoanalytic Institute, and received my Doctoral Degree in Health Education with a focus on Maternal-Infant health at Columbia University’s Teachers College. My continuing post-graduate professional studies include working with Dr. Jonathan Evans, Kate White, Katherine Ukleja, and Dr. Carey Benensen-Taussig among others.

Using the Biodynamic Craniosacral framework, Dr. di Paola works with youth and their families on the Autism spectrum and with ADHD to soothe their nervous system and provide them with tools for self-regulation, mindful awareness, and the ability to make choices about their behaviors. Her extensive training allows her to provide a safe space to process and transform trauma into healing.
Her primary research interests focus on Craniosacral therapy’s impact on Maternal-Infant Health and Long Covid.
