Welcome to my April Newsletter!
Earthquakes and Eclipses
The convergence of earthquakes and eclipses in the Northeast this month reignited in me the special role we play as mediators between earth and sky.
Their interplay underscores the interconnectedness of cosmic and terrestrial processes, inspiring awe, and contemplation, and reminding us to marvel at the magic of nature’s mysteries.
Getting to know me
Book here: Craniosacral with Dr. diPaola
In case you’re new here, and since it’s anyway been a while, I’d like to (re)introduce myself! I’m Dr. Ellyce di Paola, Professor of Health Education at Columbia University’s Teachers College, and Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist in NYC.
I first discovered Craniosacral therapy when receiving Physical therapy for a bicycle accident and the rehab PT included Craniosacral therapy in her practice.
Soon after, I became a student of Craniosacral therapy when nothing else worked to eliminate the pain of gallstones that would otherwise have required surgery.
When I began my Craniosacral therapy studies in 2007, I knew I’d found my calling and have been in practice since graduating from Dr. Michael Shea’s rigorous 3-year certification program in 2010 (https://www.sheaheart.com/).
I incorporate dance, yoga, Body-Mind Centering ®, meditation, Infant Developmental Movement Education, Parent Infant Psychotherapy, Pediatric Bodywork, and Osteopathic Immune System expertise as needed on an individual basis.
In my Biodynamic Craniosacral practice, I specialize in perinatal, pediatric, and complex conditions and am immensely grateful to participate in our diverse pathways to optimal health.
Namaste,
Dr. Ellyce DiPaola
